RUNNING COACH

I’m co-owner of Chicago Cardio Canine and I am so excited to start this journey with you and your pup. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in Finance. I left my career in business a few years after graduating because I realized that working with dogs made me more happy. In 2016 I graduated from La Paw Spa’s Aquatic Training Program Level One & Two and am certified in Canine CPR and First Aid. Swimming dogs for the last seven years has shown me the significance of cardio health. It is one of the key ingredients to increase the longevity of our canine companions. I look forward to running your dog, see you on the tread!

I’m co-owner of Chicago Cardio Canine and I am so excited to start this journey with you and your pup. I operated a landscape business for 10 years. At the height of the pandemic, I decided to sell my business and pursue a career in training dogs. In 2021 I graduated from the Michael Ellis School of dog trainers. In my experience training dogs, I found that some of the most common problems such as excessive barking, destruction, leash reactivity, aggression, and separation anxiety all stemmed from a lack of physical and mental exercise. Most pet dogs are not getting sufficient exercise and do not have an outlet to burn energy. Running on the treadmill is a safe and constructive way for dogs to burn that energy. When in doubt, run it out!
